Terms & Scope

Plain-English terms for how MarketStream works, what is included, and what to expect from the service.

These terms are provided for informational clarity. They are not a substitute for a formal legal services agreement. Final terms for any engagement should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before accepting payments or beginning work.

Subscription Model

MarketStream is a monthly website request subscription. Clients pay a monthly fee in advance and receive access to ongoing website support within the scope of their plan.

Unlimited Requests

Clients may submit unlimited website-related requests within plan scope. Unlimited refers to the number of requests that can be submitted — not the number of requests simultaneously in active production. Active work is managed through the queue.

Active Queue

Core includes one active request at a time. Studio includes two active requests at a time. Enterprise uses a custom active-request workflow defined during the consult. When an active request is completed, the next queued request moves into active status.

Request Size

A standard request is one focused website task: one page concept, landing page, section redesign, mobile polish update, copy and layout revision, or similar focused improvement. Larger or multi-part requests may be split into multiple queue items. MarketStream will communicate when this is the case.

Turnaround

Turnaround depends on plan, request complexity, feedback speed, asset availability, and queue position. Estimates are communicated per request. Turnaround estimates are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing as part of a custom arrangement.

Capacity and Fair Use

Requests must be reasonable, website-related, and within plan scope. MarketStream may pause, split, reorder, limit, or require a plan upgrade or custom quote for requests that are unusually large, unclear, repetitive, abusive, or outside plan scope.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, required assets, website access, copy, images, brand guidelines, credentials, approvals, and timely feedback. Delays caused by missing assets, missing approvals, or slow feedback may affect turnaround.

Included Work

Included work covers website-related design, revision, copy and layout improvements, mobile polish, landing pages, new page structure, and general website improvements within the scope of the active plan.

Outside Standard Scope

The following may require a separate agreement or custom quote: backend development, complex web applications, ecommerce checkout engineering, payment system setup, ad management, social media management, full brand identity systems, logo packages, video production, 3D design, advanced third-party integrations, hosting management, domain management, paid plugins or tools, and legal, medical, or financial content. This list is not exhaustive. Contact MarketStream if scope is unclear.

Support Access

Core is async queue-based support. Studio includes 24/7 request access and priority workflow. Enterprise includes custom support access and workflow defined during the consult. 24/7 request access means requests can be submitted at any time through the agreed request system — it does not mean instant completion or delivery at all hours.

Revisions

Revisions are included within plan scope and the active queue. Large direction changes or scope pivots after work has begun may be treated as a new request and re-enter the queue.

Payments

Plans are billed monthly in advance. Work begins after payment is received. Third-party costs — such as stock images, fonts, plugins, hosting, or tools — are not included in the subscription unless agreed in writing.

Cancellation

Core and Studio are monthly subscriptions and can be cancelled before the next billing cycle. Enterprise plans require a 24-month minimum commitment, which is disclosed and agreed upon during the consult. Partial-month fees are not refunded unless otherwise agreed.

Ownership

Clients own final approved and fully paid deliverables. MarketStream retains the right to display completed work as portfolio examples unless confidentiality is requested in writing.

Platform Limits

Some requested changes may depend on the capabilities or limitations of the client's website platform, CMS, builder, theme, hosting environment, plugins, or third-party tools. MarketStream will communicate when platform limitations affect deliverability.

Quality Standard

MarketStream is built for thoughtful, ongoing improvement — not rushed output. Quality is prioritized over speed. Requests are completed with care and a focus on what genuinely improves the business.

These terms are provided for informational clarity. They are not a substitute for a formal legal services agreement. Final terms for any engagement should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before accepting payments or beginning work.
